Secret Circle Spoilers: Will Diana Take Control of the Circle With Her Dark Powers?
Did you hear the news? Diana (Shelley Hennig) is the other Balcoin child, and her witchy world has turned upside down! For starters, Diana no longer has the privilege of calling Charles Meade (Gale Harold) her daddy. Will she confront her pops, or keep him blissfully ignorant? The Secret Circle’s Shelly Hennig recently spilled all to TV Guide.
"She's going to confront her father for sure because I don't think she believes it initially," Shelley explains. "She needs more confirmation, so she confronts him and they both just keep finding out more information."
Meanwhile, Diana has to deal with the fact that her real daddy is a mass murdering manwitch. "She has to strategically let these guys know that Blackwell is not to be trusted," Shelley says. "With that said, he's also the only answer to finding the crystal, so that's the obstacle for Diana — not trusting John Blackwell, knowing he's bad and still having to use him to get what they need."
Shelley says that Diana's hesitant about tapping into her dark magic, but it will ultimately give her more power in the Circle. "Now that Cassie's (Britt Robertson) explained to Diana that we need her, that puts Diana in a power position," Shelley says. "She can use that to her advantage and say, 'But we're going to do it my way. We're not going to trust John Blackwell even if we have to, we're not thinking that he's our savior.' Diana comes into the leader position again."
