Castle Review: What Did You Think of Season 4, Episode 22: “Undead Again”?
Murder suspect Kyle Jennings wasn't the only thing that came back from the dead in tonight's all-new episode ofCastle!
Just when we thought Castle and Beckett's relationship had flatlined for good, the mystery writer and his detective muse were back in rare crime-solving form, playing off each other with the clever quips and wacky one-liners that make their chemistry so gosh-darn infectious.
But tonight's zombie-themed case didn't just help Castle and Beckett rekindle the spark in their working relationship — it brought them one step closer to following their hearts. We never thought we'd hear Beckett say those magic words, but she's finally ready to accept everything that happened that fateful day.
Although we initially doubted show creator Andrew Marlowe's decision to run a silly, fluff-style case a week before the finale, "Undead Again" turned out to be one of the most thoughtful episodes of the entire season. And with just the right amount of humor, it left us grinning from ear to ear as we worked alongside Castle and Beckett to crack this killer thriller.
We still have a long way to go, as Beckett has yet to hear Castle's secret — that he's investigating her mother's murder behind her back — but it's safe to say that tonight's episode brought us back from the dead … for now.
Whether we'll make it through the season finale remains to be seen!
