Pauly D Is Going to the Gym “Three Times a Day,” Says Source. Is He Overdoing It?

After noticing Pauly D’s physical transformation from a lean, mean smushing machine in February to the somewhat bulkier, muscular build he’s currently sporting, we wondered how he did it. Now, Us Weekly is quoting a source with an answer.

A “source close to Pauly D” tells the magazine that the reality star looks a little bigger thanks to “some extra gym time.” Noting that “he’s gained 20 pounds of muscle.”

Still, it doesn’t quite explain the rapid change in his body. After all, Pauly D has been GTL’ing every day since Jersey Shore Season 1. How much more could he possibly work out than every day?

Well, apparently “three times a day,” according to the same source. “He is [exercising] non-stop.”

We had the pleasure of seeing Pauly D in person just four days ago at the MTV Upfronts (April 26), and he looked perfectly fit and healthy to us. Sure, he’s muscular, but there was nothing outrageous about his appearance. Still, the proof of a radical change seem evident in photos.

We just hope he isn’t overdoing it!
