Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers Roundup: Everything You Need to Know About Season 8, Episode 22

The title of Grey's Anatomy Season 8, Episode 22, “Let the Bad Times Roll,” is probably not a good sign for our fave residents. Bad times are exactly what you don't want rolling when you take the Boards.

If you can't wait until the episode airs to find out what goes down after the exam is done, we've collected all of the juiciest spoilers for the episode right here for your reading pleasure.

The Boards are bad for...everyone: According to TV Guide, one doc — presumably Alex (Justin Chambers) — will arrive late and fail one of the three sections of the test; you have to pass two of three to pass. But he's not the only one in trouble. In this sneak peek, we see that Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) throws up during the test, Jackson (Jesse Williams) is easily distracted, Cristina (Sandra Oh) and her proctor — William Daniels of Boy Meets World fame (yay!) — do not hit it off, and April (Sarah Drew) completely loses her cool.

Someone fails: The good news is, four of our five docs pass anyway. The bad news is, one of them doesn't. Who do you think it will be?

A painful surgery: Meanwhile, Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) best childhood friend, a cancer patient named Nick played by Entourage's Jordan Belfi, comes to Seattle Grace-Mercy West for surgery. And guess who's performing the operation? Callie (Sara Ramirez), of course. Unsurprisingly, this stirs up a whole host of difficult feelings and drama for Callie, Arizona, and Nick. This is a two-episode arc, so don't expect it to be resolved this week.

Julia's proposition: Mark (Eric Dane) gets hit with a major game changer when Julia tells him she wants to start a family with him. Talk about moving quickly! We're eager to see how Mark reacts to this surprising suggestion.

Medical case of the week: Hey, we still need one of these, right? According to the press release for the episode, this week some of the docs will operate on a patient who's missing a third of his skull. Delightful.

Catch the episode on Thursday, May 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
