Glass House, ABC's new reality show (debuting June 18), features 14 people living together in a house, all chasing a juicy cash prize as cameras record their actions and interactions. If you think that sounds like Big Brother, CBS agrees — and has reportedly threatened to take legal action over it.
The most intriguing information is that ABC has hired several production members for Glass House who previously worked on Big Brother. According to the New York Times, CBS sent ABC a letter late last week pointing out that everyone who works on Big Brother must sign a non-disclosure agreement — which would make it impossible for them to work on Glass House without breaching the agreement. CBS did not come right out and say they plan to sue ABC. Instead they "put ABC on notice" that if Glass House goes forward, ABC might end up with some broken windows. So to speak. . .
