Katherine Jenkins Suffers Concussion After DWTS Rehearsal Gone Wrong

Et tu, Katherine?

So far on Dancing With the Stars Season 14, The Welsh Wiggler Katherine Jenkins has been sailing along without any major injuries. So it’s scary to read that she apparently hurt herself to the point of getting a concussion (!) on Thursday, May 3.

According to the U.K.’s OK! Magazine, Katherine and Mark Ballas were rehearsing for Week 8 when Mark slammed his knee into her head, leaving her sick and in pain. But, according to the story, she kept going and still managed to perform at the BritWeek gala dinner in L.A. on Friday. "I'm a tough Welsh girl and I just got on with it,” Katherine said. “I felt awful but I was determined to carry on and do my best for the next show."

She and Mark haven’t been tweeting about it, so it either wasn’t that serious an injury or they decided to just get on with it without fanfare. Maybe we’ll see footage of the injury if it was captured on tape and DWTS feels like showing it.

Either way, we hope Kat is in 100 percent peak condition for tonight’s dances, since she and Mark get to dance with our favorite Irish fake boyfriend pro Tristan MacManus in the special “Trio” challenge. Maybe Tris can use his Lucky Charm powers to heal her beautiful noggin!

Watch the next new episode of DWTS tonight, May 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
