Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 6 Title Revealed: “The Remains of the ‘A’”

In the world of Pretty Little Liars, upcoming episode titles are definitely exciting. Now we know the title of Season 3, Episode 6: “The Remains of the ‘A’.” Here are the episode titles we know for the first few Season 3 episodes:

Episode 1: “It Happened That Night”
Episode 2: “Blood Is the New Black”
Episode 3: “Kingdom of the Blind”
Episode 4: “Birds of a Feather”
Episode 5: “That Girl Is Poison”
Episode 6: “The Remains of the ‘A’”

The title takes its most obvious inspiration from the 1989 Kazuo Ishiguro novel, The Remains of the Day. The basic plot centers around a butler reminiscing on his former friendship with an employer, Miss Kenton, who we slowly realize harbored a secret love for him.

Knowing PLL, we’re guessing that the episode’s plot won’t draw very much from the novel, but will be more literal. We know how prominently Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) remains have featured on the show, particularly when it comes to her autopsy report and Garrett (Yani Gellman) and Jenna’s (Tammin Sursok) involvement. Or, the title could hint at the remaining members of the “A” team mentioned by Mona (Janel Parrish) in the Season 2 finale (Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked”).

Either way, we’re intrigued!

Catch an all-new Pretty Little Liars when Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
