Lisa Kudrow on Friends Reunion: “I Don’t Think It Will Ever Happen”
Remember how The Rembrandts sang, “I’ll be there for you”? Well, it appears the Friends cast did not take those lyrics to heart, because they’re dashing our hopes for a reunion. According to Digital Spy, Matt LeBlanc said, “There’s no plans” for the cast to get back together, and former co-star Lisa Kudrow agrees.
“I don't think it will ever happen whether any of us want it to happen or not,” Kudrow told MSNBC. “I don't think any of us would do it unless [Friends co-creators] David Crane and Marta Kauffman wrote it.” To quote Janice, “Oh... my... God!”
Listen Kudrow, what if we write it? Joey is still living in L.A., but he has to come back to officiate Chandler and Monica’s wedding vow renewal ceremony. Phoebe, who has been in hiding in Prague under the name Regina Phalange, reemerges when she hears the criminal mastermind who’s been plotting her demise has died (but is he really?). Ross and Rachel now have six children.
