Was Kim Kardashian Expressly Forbidden to Attend the Met Gala by Anna Wintour?

UPDATE: Snub rumors have been shot down! According to E!Online, Kim Kardashian's absence from the Met Gala was not the result of a feud between the reality star and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Rather, Kim was taking part in a photo shoot for a European fashion mag on the day of the ball. Hey, she's a busy woman!

While Kim Kardashian's beloved beau Kanye West attended the fancy Met Gala soiree in New York City last night, his girlfriend was nowhere to be seen, and a source tells Radar Online that this wasn't her choice.

"Anna hates Kim... The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim can’t even buy her way in, Anna Wintour does NOT want her there!” Yikes! Why does Anna feel so strongly about Kim? It would seem that these two gals are TOTAL polar opposites in the celebutante fashion universe.

Perhaps it's just that: Kim is a little more down to earth, Anna is a little more, well, Vogue. And the fashion queen extraordinaire, who had the last word at Monday night's fete, reportedly made sure the guest list reflected a certain standard of style: Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and supermodel Gisele Bundchen were all there, but no Kim, who was seen running errands yesterday in L.A. with preggers sis Kourtney instead.

The source kept on jabbing, “Kim and her camp will deny that she wasn’t invited by saying that she had business in L.A., but that is a lie. She would of [sic] done anything to be there with all the A-listers."

Don't fret though, Dash fans. Kim still has a hot new contract with E!, as well as an upcoming film, The Marriage Counselor. Who needs Vogue?
