DWTS All-Stars Update: Brooke Burke Wants to Compete, Others Added to the List

Secret plans are heating up for Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars, the mythical creature that may indeed be fall 2012’s Season 15.

"They're telling us it's going to happen," one DWTS staffer told TV Guide, adding that past contestants believed to be returning include Mario Lopez (Season 3 runner-up), Gilles Marini (Season 8 runner-up), Mel B. (Season 5 runner-up), Sabrina Bryan (Season 5 surprise sixth elimination) and Kyle Massey (Season 11 runner-up).

All of those names are non-winners, and that’s how the season is expected to stay. "It's better if the winners don't come back," the insider told TV Guide, "because then, we have a cast of people who have another shot at the title."

So that means co-host and Season 7 winner Brooke Burke-Charvet probably won’t get a chance to dance again — with her pro partner Derek Hough or anyone else. She recently talked to Rachael Ray about the rumored All-Stars season and said she’d love to do it. "100 percent yes!" Brooke said. "I haven't danced ballroom since I left. And being on the show, it just makes me want to dance again."

Maybe Brooke should just take dance classes at one of the DWTS pros’ studios. It’s definitely better to let the non-winners fight it out — they’ll be hungry to prove themselves and some of them (*cough*Gilles*cough*) were robbed and deserve to prove it.

Watch the next new episode of DWTS on Monday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
