Glee Season 3: Last Day of Filming! Cast Tweets Emotional Goodbyes
That’s a wrap on Glee Season 3. Filming for the Season 3 finale ended on May 9 — well, for most of the cast, at least. What’s more, the identities of the remaining three actors with scenes yet to film just might give away some big spoilers!
If we were the ones writing Glee, Rachel and Kurt would have both been accepted to NYADA, Finn would be heading to the Actor’s Studio, and these final scenes would show the three of them starting their life together in NYC. But will that really be the case? We just don’t have enough information yet to tell!
For the rest of the cast though, the afternoon marked their final moments working on Glee Season 3 — and for some, possibly their final moments on Glee ever!

At just about 3:30pm, Harry Shum Jr. (Mike) wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen! That's a season wrap! It's been a great year & love love to every one of y'all for playing. Now jumping into a pool.”
Sounds like a plan: summer break is finally here! Moments later, Chord Overstreet(Sam) wrote, “Check the gates! That's a season wrap! Thank you to our amazing cast, crew and of course all our writers on another great season!! #season3”
Kevin McHale (Artie)added, “I'm already having severe separation anxiety, but I'm so excited to see what season 4 brings! Hope you all enjoy the rest of the season! :)” While some in the cast showed only excitement, others seemed quite worried about their Season 4 fate. Samuel Larsen (Joe) tweeted, “My last day of season 3. Praying very hard that it isn't my last day on the glee set period. I love it here :)”

Amber Riley (Mercedes) caused quite a stir when she tweeted, “Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I've known day in and day out for three years. I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday!”
But does this mean that she’s gone for good? Not so fast! To clarify, Dot-Marie Jones(Coach Beiste) tweeted to say that the cast hasn’t been told yet if they’re coming back or not. Talk about a cliffhanger ending for all the actors!
In any case, most of the cast is trying to stay patient and hopeful.Damian McGinty (Rory) wrote, “I've learned to expect nothing, and appreciate everything. Im so grateful for the opportunity I've had the past year to work with such ..”
He added, “Amazing people. Every single one of the cast and crew. Very blessed.”

So while we can’t even imagine Glee without Quinn(Dianna Agron), it appears we just might have to start dealing with the reality of a show without her. Dianna tweeted, “I don't know all that is to come, but I know what a day like this means. Four years of love, light & support. To the cast, crew & creators.”
She continued, “And to all of you that have shown your love along the way. We just can't thank you enough. This has always been a very surreal experience. X”
Who do you hope is back for Glee Season 4? Frankly, we’re having a hard time imagining any of them gone. Senior graduation is going to be a sad one, for sure!
