Vampire Diaries Season 3 Finale Speculation: Will Jeremy Switch Sides?

Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is going through some stuff on The Vampire Diaries. His only bestie, Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), turned out to be a double-agent vampire, and his ex Bonnie (Kat Graham) has moved on to a green-eyed dreamboat. Plus, he just came back from the dead and his guardian is a maniac. He seems to have had it up to his bloodshot eyeballs with all the supernatural business.

In the producer’s preview video for the Season 3 finale, Jeremy has a little moment with Alaric (Matt Davis). The new vamp seems to be trying to bring Jer over to the dark side. “Find out where Klaus’s body is being hidden. I’ll kill him, all his siblings. And when I die, vampires will no longer exist,” Ric tells him.

That has to feel like a pretty promising prospect to JerBer, but it all depends on whether there’s a way to kill Alaric without harming Elena (Nina Dobrev). Ahem, magic department? Do you have anything like that? Steven R. McQueen told Young Hollywood Studios he’d like Jeremy to get more involved in vampire hunting in Season 4, so maybe this is his first step toward stake packing and crossbow toting?
