Eliminated Voice Contestant Anthony Evans Jr. Dishes on New Collaboration With Cee Lo Green! (VIDEO)

Plenty of contestants on The Voice have been helped by their coaches.

Gwen Sebastian was eliminated early in the battle rounds, but she received a spot on Blake Shelton’s sold-out tour. Eliminated Team Blake contestant RaeLynn performed with Blake and Miranda Lambert on April 28 and 29 at Stagecoach, a country music festival in Indio, Calif.

But it was recently announced that former Team Christina contestant Anthony Evans Jr. was getting some help from a Voice coach that wasn’t his own. The singer appeared with other eliminated Voice contestants in Christina Milian’s “After Show” and discussed his current project.

“Right now currently, I’m doing Cee Lo’s Christmas record background vocals,” Anthony said. “The same people who had me doing that are a part of a huge TV show in the fall, and I’m going to be a part of that.”

The former gospel singer moved to Los Angeles right after his exit from the show to pursue his career in entertainment and it seems to be paying off.

We didn’t even know Cee Lo had a Christmas album in the works! The "Forget You" singer is currently pretty busy writing his memoir, judging The Voice, and caring for Purrfect the Cat. Are you excited for Cee Lo’s Christmas album?
