Glee Spoiler: Will Max Adler’s Karofsky Return For the Season 3 Finale?

Back in Glee Season 3, Episode 14: “On My Way,” views watched in shock as former bully and closeted gay teen Dave Karofsky (Max Adler) attempted to take his own life.

Luckily, Dave’s suicide attempt failed, and the unwillingly-outed football player walked away with the chance to start a new albeit very different life.

We know Dave left his situation with hope, having found a new friend in Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer. However, we haven’t heard a single thing from him on the show since. So, will we see Dave in Glee’s May 22 Season 3 finale? Sadly, it’s not looking like it.

On May 9, @StarryMag tweeted, “I just told @gleeradio that I am hoping that we get @MrMaxAdler in the #Glee season finale” Max saw the tweet and responded, “Thx! But no go

On top of that, since none of the Glee cast other than Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), and Chris Colfer (Kurt) has been officially confirmed for Season 4 his fate next year remains entirely up in the air.

So where can you see Max Adler in the future? The actor recently finished filming a pilot for ABC called Last Resort, though he is not among one of the show’s recurring stars. After that, he flew to Kentucky to film a new movie called 23 Blast.

While we’re very excited to see Max booking new gigs, we really hope to see him return as Dave at some time in Glee’s future, too!
