One Direction Fever! Glee Season 3, Episode 19’s Best and Worst Song Performances — Do You Agree?

Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts... along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 3, Episode 19: “Prom-asaurus,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: “What Makes You Beautiful” by Joe, Rory, Sam, Mike, and Artie

For some reason, there was no song performance this week that really knocked our socks off. (Speaking of socks: They only count as one item in strip poker, as we now know.) So we couldn’t resist giving the top slot to this blissful One Direction cover (so much cowbell!), with Joe (Samuel Larsen) and Rory (Damian McGinty) getting much-deserved time in the spotlight, and Sam (Chord Overstreet) even picking up Artie (Kevin McHale) at the end. On a side note, if seeing someone flip their hair gets you overwhelmed, you probably need to get out more.

Worst Performance of the Night: “Dinosaur” by Brittany

It certainly doesn’t help that the original version of this song is the kind of recording that we wish could have been destroyed by the Big Bang. And we appreciate that Brittany (Heather Morris) puts on a good show those splits! but still, her “singing” (or should we say, shouting) leaves something to be desired. With a track record like this, we’re just hoping Glee never decides to do another song by Ke-Dollar-Sign-Ha again.
