Secret Circle Season 1 Finale Spoilers : How Will the Circle Save Faye’s Life?
It's all happening, people. After months of magical mystery and waxed chest hair, The Secret Circle's epic season finale is upon us! In case you haven't seen the promo, tonight's episode revolves around Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) getting kidnapped and how everyone's too lazy to save her.
"The episode is hinged on just how far each one of them is willing to go to rescue Faye," executive producer Andrew Miller tells TV Line. "They all want to; but how to do that is up for grabs because it directly ties into not how much they can trust Blackwell, but how much they can outsmart him."
Unfortunately, outsmarting Blackwell means dividing the Circle. "They will come to realize that in order to save the Circle they have to divide the Circle — though that won’t necessarily be true," Andrew says. "How that act affects them — though it was done in such a positive way, to help Faye — ends up putting them in more danger than they counted on."
Meanwhile, expect love triangles and spellgasms to abound — especially with our favorite manwitch, Adam (Thomas Dekker). "There are some hints in this finale between Adam and Melissa [Jessica Parker Kennedy] and between Adam and Cassie Blake [Britt Robertson]," Andrew teases. "What happens to Adam as his story is completed over the course of this episode really points to an exciting, questionable relationship for next season."
But enough about Adam. Let's talk about the men: Ethan (Adam Harrington) and Charles (Gale Harold). Sadly, Ethan won't be in the finale because he was "busy," but you can count on Charles and his salty tears. "For him to be the father he purports to be, he’s going to have to take a harder path than he’s been taking," Andrew explains. "We’ll find out who Charles is as a man in this episode, when he decides how far he’ll go to save Diana Meade [Shelley Hennig]."
We love you, Charles! Never change! Sorry, we're experiencing a lot of emotions right now.
