Top 3 Most Shocking Moments From Bones Season 7 Finale, Episode 13 “The Past In The Present” –– Baptisms, Fugitives, and Traitors!
This week's episode of BonesSeason 7 Finale, Episode 13, “The Past In The Present” blew us away with its non-stop drama and general epic-ness. And yes, we cried copiously. Check out the 3 biggest shockers of the night (plus one bonus!), and try not to suffer another emotional breakdown while reading this.
1. Baby Christine Gets Baptized, Angels Sing On High Well, it's official! Baby Christine has been absolved of her sins (of which there are many). She even had holy water sprinkled on her adorable little head, which was great and all, but we can't help thinking: Were Blue Ivy and Suri Cruise baptized? Because Baby Christine (BC) is already a god amongst men and she's feeling slightly insulted by the indignity of having to splash around in a dirty font.
Then again, her baptism was a great excuse for Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) to declare their love for one another, and BC is all about making sacrifices for the betterment of mankind.
2. Brennan Starts Her Life On The Lam Our jaws hit the floor when Brennan packed Christine into a car and put pedal to the medal without saying goodbye to Booth. Who knows where she's going, what she's doing, or –– more importantly –– how Baby Christine is going to survive without Montessori school, but OMG. Come back to Washington, Brennan!
We have no doubt that Brennie will be back by next season, but we're still traumatized by the thought of her wandering around podunk towns in the south while a homicidal killer tries to frame her for murder.
3. Brennan's Friends Turn Against Her We barely have any room left in our Burn Book, but let's just say Cam's (Tamara Taylor) name is at the top of the list. Followed by Hodgins (TJ Thyne) and that one hunky squintern that Angela banged (aka Wendell). Despite the fact that Brennan's a wonderful person who may or may not be a robot, all three of these nerds thought she was capable of murder. In other words –– traitors, you're all traitors, sob!
Although Cam's doubt ended up helping Brennan by keeping Angie on the case, we don't know if we'll ever get over the fact that Tempy's friends didn't stand by her during her time of need. You haven't heard the end of this, Hart Hanson.
