Sheree Whitfield on Her Decision to Leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta: “I Don’t Need to Explain Myself to Anybody”
Since we broke the news of Sheree Whitfield’s decision to leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta after four seasons on the show, the now former housewife has found herself dispelling rumors that she was fired, despite the fact that she insists it was her choice to leave.
Sheree calls her departure “an amicable split”, and tells Essence.com, “I was ready to move, and I don't need to explain myself to anybody.”
“I'm not about just being on a show bickering and fighting with women,” she continued.
While Sheree says she’s only in contact with two of her former co-stars (our bets are on Kandi Burruss, whom she recently had lunch with, and Kim Zolciak), she has nothing but kind wishes for everyone involved in RHoA.
I wish all the girls the best," she says. "The ones that I like and the ones that I don't like. I wish everybody the best."
Leave it to Sheree to always be the bigger person!
