Great Scott! Felicity’s Scott Speedman and Scott Foley: Then and Now (PHOTOS)

If you were a Felicity fan (like us), you were fully caught up in Keri Russell’s perpetual swing between hot University of New York R.A. Noel (Scott Foley) and hot University of New York student Ben (Scott Speedman) circa the late ‘90s. Yeah, college was real rough for that one.

Well, 2012 is our lucky year, because we get to admire the boys’ crazy handsomeness once more: Both Scotts are heading back to the small screen — Foley on Season 5 of True Blood and the new FOX comedy The Goodwin Games, and Speedman on ABC’s new fall series Last Resort.

We’ve already gotten a healthy dose of Foley, 39, on a string of TV favorites since Felicity ended its four-season run in 2002. We fell for his adorable character on Scrubs, swooned over his military heroism on The Unit, and cried like the girls we are when his Grey’s Anatomy character met his untimely end last November.

Now Foley is set to reprise his True Blood Season 4 finale role, Patrick Devins, when the upcoming season premieres on June 10 (can’t wait!). Of his character, he tells TVLine, “I’m not a vampire, I’m not a werewolf, I’m not a werepanther, I’m not a fairy, I’m not a shapeshifter. I’m just a guy coming into town trying to finish something he started back in Iraq.” That sounds far too innocent for the supernatural drama; it has to get dark and dangerous somewhere.

Come winter, he’ll trade in the weighty stuff for lighter fare when he plays Henry Goodwin on The Goodwin Games, a comedy from the creators of How I Met Your Mother about three adult siblings who come back together to compete in an elaborate series of games for their dead father’s massive fortune.

Unlike Foley, Speedman, 36, took the big-screen route in his post-Felicity years, starring in the Underworld movies opposite Kate Beckinsale, as well as in some much less memorable fare. We’re way excited to have him and his pretty face back on network TV as XO Sam Kendal on Last Resort, where we can admire his beauty week after week... provided his new show, an action-thriller about a rogue nuclear sub and its crew, doesn’t go the way of Charlie’s Angels. Fingers are crossed.

In the meantime, let’s just admire these actors and their seemingly ageless good looks. Well done, you two. (If we were Felicity, we’d pick both — if anyone’s curious.)
