Peta Murgatroyd is one of the three pros still in the running to win this puppy and she told Socialite Life which celeb she believes is her partner Donald’s biggest competition.
“Right now, I would have to say William, especially with his women fan base,” Peta said.
Women love Donald, too! And Katherine, for that matter. And if Season 8 frontrunner/hottie-in-chief Gilles Marini could lose to sweet young Olympian Shawn Johnson, you never know where the predominantly female audience is going to send votes.
The last two winners have been men, J.R. Martinez and Hines Ward, but the two before were women, Jennifer Grey and Nicole Scherzinger. And before that was Donny Osmond. There’s no real formula, especially when you add in who those winners beat. Sometimes athletes win. Sometimes pop stars. Sometimes the season’s highest scoring dancer wins, sometimes the biggest entertainer wins. Heaven only knows. Actually, hindsight only knows — once someone is crowned we all nod like it makes perfect sense and of course we all saw it coming. Sometimes it’s easy to see coming. Other times — like this time — just find a three-sided coin and flip it.
