The Voice’s Cee Lo Green Named One of 100 Most Creative People in Business

Who knew that behind that toothy grin and oversized shades lies a great entrepreneurial mind?

Fast Company magazine chose Papa Cee Lo and his baby Purrfect for the cover of its 100 Most Creative People in Business issue.

This year alone, Cee Lo has been a judge on The Voice Season 2, started work on his memoir, pimped out a fluffy white cat, created a remix to the Meow Mix jingle, reunited with Goodie Mob, has started an performance residency in Las Vegas, and has collaborated on Christina Aguilera and Vicci Martinez’s albums while working on his own.

"Cee Lo has re-invented himself, multiple times, through a theatricality that has allowed him to connect with multiple audiences,” said Fast Company publisher Robert Safian.

“He is the epitome of what is required of creative business people today: to break down the barriers of expectation, to build opportunities in places where there were none, and to have fun while doing it all.”

That’s our Cee Lo!

The singer, mentor, pet owner, and entrepreneur was featured as No. 5 on the list, which also includes comedian Aziz Ansari, actress Jessica Alba, and director Wes Anderson.

“Either you’re working hard trying to make it happen, or you’re working three times as hard trying to keep it happening,” Cee Lo said.

It seems that Cee Lo’s always going to “fight to win” and we’re behind him 100 percent! What do you think of the Lady Killer’s new honor? Comment below!
