The Voice Season 1 Winner Javier Colon: There’s Nothing Wrong Between Me And Adam At All

Though Blake Shelton is the coach known for helping out his contestants in their music careers after The Voice, Adam Levine doesn’t take his mentees lightly.

Season 1 winner and Team Adam contestant Javier Colon will be touring with Adam Levine and Maroon 5 starting this week.

This Voice-centric opening act should clear up the rumors of a rift between the judge and his winning team member.

When Javier performed on the Season 2 finale of The Voice, there were whispers that he had asked Adam to sing a duet with him, to which Adam refused.

"I never even asked Adam to perform the song with me honestly, because it wouldn’t have made any sense,” Colon said to The Huffington Post. “My new single 'A Drop in the Ocean,' doesn't have anybody on it and it's not the kind of song that would've been good for Adam and I to [sing] together in two minutes and 15 seconds."

And it seems Javier and Adam have a bright future and friendship ahead of them.

“We're touring together, we're doing some shows together. There's nothing wrong between me and Adam at all,” Javier said.
