Top 5 OMG Moments from Glee’s Season 3 Finale: Rachel Gets In — But Kurt Doesn’t!
This week’s Glee finale did not disappoint, as it was packed with crazy twists and jaw-dropping moments — especially with everyone parting ways! Here are our picks for the top five OMG moments fromSeason 3, Episode 22: “Goodbye.”
So theQuinn(Dianna Agron)-Joe(Samuel Larsen) romance is never gonna happen? After all that build-up over the past few weeks during physical therapy, we were certain that Joe would finally get his first kiss in this week’s finale, but ‘twas not meant to be. However, seeing Quinn andPuck(Mark Salling) kiss more than made up for it, since we prefer Quinn and Puck together anyway. (Don’t hate us, Quoe fans!) Then again, we’re not sure how a kiss makes you suddenly good at geography, but what do we know.
4. Will Brittana make the long-distance thing work?
This week, we learned aboutMike’s (Harry Shum Jr.) move to Chicago — but why the heck was there no Tike goodbye scene?! — and also aboutMercedes(Amber Riley) moving to L.A. to sing back-up. (By the way, we’d hate to be the lead vocalist who’s about to get overshadowed by a back-up singer like Mercedes!) But our favorite scene involving future plans wasSantana’s (Naya Rivera), as her awesome mom (Gloria Estefan) provided a nest egg to pursue stardom in NY. Guess a new Lexus for mom will have to wait.
So we’re not thrilled aboutBrittana being apart, but we definitely think that New York is the right place for Santana. And with Santana andRachel (Lea Michele) both off to the Big Apple, does this mean we’ll be treated to some adorable Pezberry scenes next season? (And by the way, are we the only ones who wish there had been a flashback to a young Santana and her Uncle Jesse hairdo?)
3. One final Faberry moment at McKinley!

We loved seeing Quinn kiss Puck for old times’ sake, but the person who we all really want to see Quinn share scenes with is Rachel (duh). That’s why we loved seeing these two have one last adorable moment in the bathroom, with Quinn giving Rachel a train pass to visit her in Yale. Here’s hoping that we can all look forward to plenty more cute bathroom scenes in the future.
2. Kurt doesn’t get in. (And no, we’re still not happy about it.)

Okay, so numbers 3-5 on this list involved scenes that were cute and fun. You shouldn’t expect the same from numbers 1 and 2. In fact, we’re still having an incredibly hard time processing how it is thatKurt’s (Chris Colfer) audition performance of“Not the Boy Next Door” — along with his killer resume — was somehow not enough for NYADA. Seriously — this is so not fair! There might be bigger injustices in the world, but right now, we can’t think of any.
1. Say it ain’t so: Finchel breaks up!
Why is it that Finchel fans seemingly have to endure more lasting drama than the fans of any other couple on this show? Obviously, we don’t want any of the show’s amazing couples to experience heartache, but for some reasonFinn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel seem to face more than their fair share of turbulence. A note to Ryan Murphy: Give Finchel a break already!
So will Finn decide to join Rachel in NYC, or is he seriously joining the Army? Ugh — we can’t imagine waiting more than three months to learn what happens to these two! (And here we were hoping that picking chairs for the wedding would be their biggest problem in the finale.)
