Robert Pattinson vs. Taylor Kitsch in The Hunger Games: Who Would Make a Better Finnick Odair?

With the runaway success of The Hunger Games this year, expectations are pretty darn high for Catching Fire, the much-anticipated sequel coming in the fall of 2013.

The question on everyone’s mind lately is who should play fan favorite Finnick Odair. For those not familiar, Finnick is a former Games winner from District 4 who has continued to make a name for himself in the Capitol with his charm and good looks. Now in his mid-20s, he re-enters the Games in the Quarter Quell, a.k.a. the Hunger Games: All-Stars Edition.

With Francis Lawrence now directing Catching Fire, there’s been buzz that Robert Pattinson (whom Francis directed in Water for Elephants) could be up for the coveted role. But MTV also puts Battleship star Taylor Kitsch high on the list of potential Finnicks. As much as we loved him in Friday Night Lights, the studly actor has developed a reputation for underwhelming the box office (see: John Carter. And Battleship).

We previously laid out who we’d love to see take on the role of Finnick and reported on the fan-led campaign for Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams. But with these high-profile names thrown into the mix, who do you think would do the best job?
