Beyonce Lost a Whopping 60 Pounds Post-Pregnancy – How’d She Do It?
Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter was born just five months ago and her personal trainer tells Us Weekly that the 30-year-old mogul has already lost 60 pounds. So how’d she do it?
Trainer Marco Borges says that he and Beyonce started planning her fitness and nutrition regimen starting the day Blue Ivy was born: January 7. According to Marco, he “led five-days-a-week cardio and body-sculpting sessions” with the very new mom.
But full-body workouts weren’t the only part of Marco’s strategy. He says that he made sure Beyonce stayed on a whole-foods diet made up of “vegetables, protein, nothing pre-packaged.”
Beyonce herself told the crowd at her May 26 concert in Atlantic City, “Y'all have no idea how hard I worked. I had to lose 60 pounds … They had me on that treadmill — I ate lettuce!"
We hope that’s not all she ate, but whatever it was, she obviously lost the weight fast, and looks just as hot as ever.
