Game of Thrones

Charlize Theron Is “Obsessed” With Game of Thrones (Imagine Her as Cersei Lannister!)

Charlize Theron is a stunningly beautiful blonde with green eyes who knows just how to play a badass queen. Sound kinda familiar?

Lena Headey is kicking serious arse as Cersei Lannister on HBO's Game of Thrones, but just imagine Charlize in the role. It changes everything. And it sounds like she'd totally be game for a trip to Westeros.

"I'm absolutely foaming at the mouth with Game of Thrones," Charlize told Us Weekly. "I cannot get enough of that. ...When my son [Jackson] came into my life that was our bottle feeds because I couldn't watch television and I slept so little. And that was my TiVo feed every two hours — watching Game of Thrones," she revealed of bringing her son home in March. "And my mom was like, 'Do you think it's fine that you're feeding your son while there's sword fights?' I was like, 'It's fine, mom. It's fine.' So, yeah, I'm somewhat obsessed with that right now."

Charlize talked to Screen Rant about her upcoming film Prometheus and after talking more about her love for GoT, Charlize was asked if she'd be open to joining the cast in Season 3 or 4.

"I’d be totally open to it,” Charlize told the site. “I’m open to anything, dude. I’m open to anything. That’s what I would ask the aliens [in a previous interview, she had been asked what question she would ask aliens]. I’d be like, 'Do you watch Game of Thrones?' Yeah, I’m open to do anything. I’d be like 'Hey, alien, what do you think of Game of Thrones? Lord Snow, really?' (Laughter)."

The role of Cersei is already taken, but there must be another good GoT part out for Charlize ... right?
