The Bachelorette

New Bachelorette Frontrunner? Prepare for “The Emergence of Sean” in London

At this point, The Bachelorette Season 8 seems like Arie Luyendyk, Jr.’s race to lose. Not that it’s really a race. It’s a serious competition to find a guy to marry Emily Maynard and get her pregnant. And Arie seems to be winning (have you counted the make out sessions?). But Chris Harrison tells TV Guide we shouldn’t count out some of the other guys still bumming around the house.

“[Em and Arie] definitely are on another level, but I'll say this, Emily did a phenomenal job of not shutting down,” Chris says. “We've had Bachelors and Bachelorettes in the past that have made the mistake of stopping at this point when they have their ‘one.’ She does a good job of staying in the moment with whoever she is with. She gives the opportunity for other guys to catch up. Will they? We'll see.”

And we’ll see a taste of that this coming Monday on Episode 5, which includes Emily’s first date with Sean Lowe. “London is a great episode,” Chris says. “Talk about her relationship with Arie and people catching up, she has her first serious date with Sean and next week is the emergence of Sean. Emily was under the weather, so it's a bit of a rough one for her and it's also the F-bomb episode. She kind of goes gangster too!”

So gangsta Em and her fellow hot blond, Sean, are going to get close. One guy cheering Sean on is his fellow Dallas resident, Jeremy Anderson, DeAnna Pappas’ fourth favorite boyfriend on The Bachelorette Season 4. Jeremy tweeted today, “Everyone give a warm welcome to my buddy @SeanLowe09 Good luck man! #Bachelornation.”

Welcome to the show, Sean! Glad to see you’re going to give Arie a run for his money. Not that we’re counting out Jef With One Jef But Two Blue Knee-High Socks.
