Talk about having to overcome adversity! Paralyzed from the chest down, 24-year-old The Glee Project 2 contender Ali Stroker has been in a wheelchair since age 2, but that hasn’t stopped her from working as an NYC-based actress and singer for more than three quarters of her life.

Ali graduated from New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, and says it's her goal to inspire others with disabilities to know that they can follow their dreams of having careers in performance, as well. With her cheerful personality, strong theatre training, not to mention that awesome wheelchair choreography — (Note to Artie Abrams: Step up your game!) — Ali already appears to be one of this season’s top contenders.
