“On the first night, he gathered everyone around for a major heartfelt apology,” an insider reportedly told In Touch. “He acknowledged that his drug use had taken a toll on his friendships and insisted that he’s changed.”
Mike famously entered rehab earlier this year to treat an addiction to prescription pills. It was later revealed that Mike had gone to rehab before he was on the Jersey Shore, and had been struggling to keep up with the fast-paced celebrity lifestyle. During Season 5, it was obvious to almost everyone that Mike was not acting like his normal, catchphrase-spitting self. Instead, he was going on paranoid rants, walking around the house with his pants falling off, and fixating on breaking up Snooki and Jionni.
Well, now that it is all water under the bridge, we hope we can see the happy side of Mike again on Season 6.
