America's Next Top Model

ANTM Cycle 19 Hires a “Movement Mentor,” Explains How Voting Makes a Difference

As if there weren’t already enough changes being made to America's Next Top Model for the upcoming Cycle 19: College Edition, The CW has announced the addition of a new mentor, and released a bit more clarifying information on how viewers’ votes at home will make a difference.

Beginning in May, anyone can visit The CW’s ANTM voting site to see the latest photo shoot featuring all 12 of the modelstants who will appear on Cycle 19. Click here to view the latest crop of photos.

In a new press release, The CW says that the scores viewers give online this summer “will be added to scores from [Tyra] Banks and the judges to help determine who is eliminated each week. Also, in a new twist, the girls who have already been eliminated will have the opportunity to return to the competition via votes on their photo shoot pictures, which will allow the audience the chance to save their favorite model.” So make those votes count!

Also, in addition to new judge Rob Evans, photo shoot creative consultant Johnny Wujek, and social media mentor BryanBoy, choreographer and dancer Jontè has been cast as the “movement mentor.” Perhaps he’s pegged to be the next Miss. J. Alexander? Can anyone fill those stilettos?

Don’t forget to vote every Monday and Thursday this summer!

Catch the premiere of America's Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition on Friday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
