Glee Season 4 Casting Update: Everyone Is Coming Back! But What’s the Catch?
With Glee’s ominous Season 3 finale, "Goodbye," just days away, it’s the question everybody wants to know: Who will be staying on the hit show post-graduation — and who will not? Recent speculation had graduating seniors likeQuinn(Dianna Agron),Puck(Mark Salling),Mercedes(Amber Riley), andMike(Harry Shum Jr.) not coming back at all. But fear not, because series creator Ryan Murphy just dropped a bit of a bomb to Vulture: Everybody is coming back! Yep, you read that right! Everybody. In a (vague) new chat with the site, Ryan dished, “We had a meeting, and you know we’ve become like family, and I said to them, ‘Anybody who wants to stay on the show will stay on the show.’ They’re all coming back. Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes.”
Ryan added, “It doesn’t mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everyone wants to stay in our family and our world. I wanted to make sure those actors know that if they want to have a home, they have a home. If they want to explore new and different things while also having a home, that is also an option.”
However, there is one character who definitely will get to appear in all 22 of those episodes:Lea Michele(Rachel). "I mean, no one is really going to be doing 22 episodes except Lea," Ryan told TV Guide at a TV Academy panel for The Glee Projecton June 7.
So, who in Glee-land do you think will decide to start exploring “new and different things”? Hmm… Source: Vulture
