As has beenconfirmed since January, Rachel Berry is still set to be very much a part ofSeason 4. In fact, Ryan Murphy revealed at a TV Academy panel for The Glee Projecton June 7 that he plans for her to be in every episode! "I mean, no one is really going to be doing 22 episodes except Lea," Ryan tells TV Guide.
Details about what exactly her post-college life will entail are still being kept under wraps, but there are some things we do know.
“You’ll still see the kids that this year were juniors. You’ll still see them next year in high school,” Lea explained during The Late Show With David Letterman on May 21. She continued, “You’ll follow the people that have graduated, wherever they [go]...”
She not-so-coyly added, “but we did shoot some scenes in New York, for the finale.” We’ve seen that scene, and it shows a colorfully-attired Rachel Berry prancing around New York City. The only problem is:Finn (Cory Monteith) andKurt(Chris Colfer) are nowhere in sight. Weren’t all three of them supposed to move to NYC together?
Even after everything that went down in the Season finale, we're still holding onto hope that either of the guys might still somehow make it to New York at a later date. Plus, all the spoilers seemed to imply that Kurt would make it into NYADA along with Rachel. We learned in early May that Sex and the City’sSarah Jessica Parker will guest star in multiple Season 4 episodes as a “mentor of sorts” to Kurt, whileKate Hudson will be working closely with Rachel.
And honestly, would a woman as fabulous as SJP really be caught anywhere other than NYC? We’re finding that pretty hard to believe. Hopefully Kurt can still make it to NYC. Somehow...
