Go Behind the Scenes of Blake Shelton’s New Music Video For “Over”
Blake Shelton’s a busy man. He’s attended multiple festivals and award shows in the last month, is recording two albums, and getting ready to starting filming Season 3 of The Voice.
In addition to all this, he’s been filming the music video for his latest single, “Over.” Though the video isn’t out yet, new webisodes on CMT’s website give us a glimpse behind the scenes!
The series is called “Diary of a Director” and follows award-winning music video director Roman White as he makes Blake’s new hit into a video.
It’s clear from the start why these two teamed up. He jokingly says, “Blake Shelton and I first worked together at a burlesque club in Reno. He was my handler, and I was a dancer.”
Roman has directed three of Blake’s music videos thus far — “Don’t Make Me,” “The More I Drink,” and “Hillbilly Bone.”
“I know, I’ve used Roman a bunch of times, and I’ve never won video of the year,” Blake joked in the webisode. “That’s why I don’t feel bad trashing Roman.”
We love these new videos! Our only concern? Adam Levine might have some competition for Blake's attention.
“We kind of have a bromance thing going on,” Roman boasted. “We hug close. He has licked my face before.”
Watch out, Roman! Adam and Blake will always be our favorite bromance!
