On Sean and Emily's date: "If there's one thing I know, it’s that Emily and Sean would make super Barbie and Ken babies. Gorge! Beyond this, the date was a bit slow for me, but it’s pretty clear that Sean is one of the good guys that Emily and other women always dream about....I think Emily needs a man with a bit of an edge, so even though this date went well, I'm not completely sold on them as a match."
On Kalon's betrayal: "It is very clear that Ricki is Emily's life, and any man that would consider her baggage should just leave....As sweet as Emily is, this just goes to show, do not mess with a woman's child, because this southern belle will put you in your place. I love how Emily reused Kalon's line on him as she tells him to "get the #&$! out". She made all single moms and women proud in this moment. Go girl."
On the magical beauty that is Jef Holm: "He has a good head on his shoulders, but also has that extra "edge" that I believe Emily needs: the skateboard, the great style, interesting career, and fun hair. I rarely remember the specifics of what Emily and her men talk about over dinner, but I can't help but remember a couple of Jef's thoughts: He wants to find someone to "share the details with," and he wants to have dance parties with Ricki while Emily is not home. I got goosebumps watching it, and I just got goosebumps reliving it in my head."
We get goosebumps everytime we think of Jef. Which is frequently, in case you hadn't guessed.
