Real Housewives of New York

Why Did Bethenny Frankel Remove Her Breast Implants?

Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel’s impressive chest may be famous, but she hasn’t always had so much fun with her funbags. On a recent episode of her new daytime talk show Bethenny, the lithe Skinnygirl explained the (literal) ups and downs of her boobs’ history.

Bethenny admits that, ever since she was in high school, she felt like her boobs were saggy: “I was in high school and probably about 30 pounds heavier, and my boobs used to sag. They were bigger and they were saggy. They would almost touch your stomach, when you feel like it’s hot and sweaty.”

But by the time she was in her late 20s, she’d lost a significant amount of weight, but her boobs remained pretty big, and they were saggier than ever. “You know when you lay down naked and they’re over here [on either side of you],” she says. “They’re like cocktails on the side. So my girlfriend said, you should do something.”

What she wound up with, after getting implants, was “a D [cup], and I didn’t feel like it was right on me. I felt kind of sloppy. I felt like they were unwieldy and all over the place.” A few years ago, Bethenny says she could afford to have them taken out and lifted. “I did feel much better … I’m not a person who would feel good with gigantic breasts,” she added.

We have to say that Bethenny looks better than ever, which is impressive given all the stress (she recently opened up about her miscarriage) we watch her go through on TV. Which makes her an excellent source of inspiration!
