Arrests Made in Phillip Phillips’ Family Pawn Shop Break-In

Earlier this week, it was reported that while American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips was recovering from his much-needed kidney surgery, his family’s pawn shop in Georgia was burglarized. Now, arrests have finally been made.

According to local ABC and NBC news affiliate WALB, three suspects — Maurice Sanders (23), Quymeisha Wallace (18), and George Ferguson (38) — have been charged with crimes associated with the break-in, including separate counts of burglary, receiving stolen property, and obstruction of an officer.

According to Fox31, the items stolen from Phillip Phillips Sr.’s pawn shop include various guns, rare coins, fishing reels, and television sets, with inventory for missing items still ongoing. Two of the suspects were denied bond, while Ferguson’s was set at $1,000.
