The Vampire Diaries

Joseph Morgan Would Hate for Klaus to Be Good on The Vampire Diaries

A hybrid gets spelled into his ex-minion’s body… We forget the rest of the joke, but the scenario has become a reality for Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) on The Vampire Diaries. When E! Online spoke with Mr. Morgan, the eloquent Brit talked about his hopes and dreams for his character in Season 4. (Basically, he wants to remake Roman Holiday with Caroline.)

That’s going to be a tall order, considering Caroline (Candice Accola) has no idea her boy’s body is being rented out by a sadistic Original. This twisted love triangle can only end in tears — “probably Caroline’s,” says Joseph. “I think there will be a showdown,” he adds, when Tyler finally evicts his body snatcher. But ever the romantic, Joseph still wants to see a little something transpire between Klaus and Caroline. “I’d like to see them in Rome,” Joseph says. Yeah, we’d like to see Klaus at the Mouth of Truth, too.

Besides the lovey dovey stuff, Joseph is anxious for Klaus to howl at the moon. “I’d love to see a werewolf transformation. We haven’t seen one of those for Klaus,” Joseph points out. “I know it’s incredibly, physically taxing, but I think it’ll be interesting to see what kind of wolf he becomes, what he looks like as wolf.” (Our guess? Fanged and furry.)

Joseph also has one thing he doesn’t want to see happen to Klaus in Season 4. “Just don’t make him good. Please don’t make him good,” he begs.

Obviously! That would ruin all the fun!
