Farrah Abraham on Leaving Her Parents: “I Didn’t Miss Them at All”
Farrah Abraham’s relationship with her parents has had its ups and downs on Teen Mom, but her move to Florida was a tense time for the whole family.
“A big thing about this season was I got a lot more patience,” Farrah said on the Teen Mom After Show.
But when her dad, Michael, offered to move in and her mom continued to give advice, Farrah felt that her parents were questioning her parenting skills. This didn’t sit well with the Teen Mom and she was happy to see them leave.
“I didn’t miss them at all when I first moved to Florida,” Farrah said. “Maybe after three months I missed my dad.”
Farrah said that her mom still regularly calls to check in, making it hard to miss her.
“My mom’s like a fun ruiner,” Farrah joked.
But their time apart has done wonders for Farrah and Debra’s relationship.
“After a year of living there, I miss my family,” Farrah admitted. "I call my mom like three times a day!”
