Real Housewives of New York

RHONY’s Ramona Singer Sounds Off on Heather Thomson’s Lack of Manners

On last night’s The Real Housewives of New York (Season 5, Episode 4: “Diss-Invite”), Ramona Singer found herself at odds with both her new friends (Heather Thomson), and her old allies (Sonja Morgan). In her blog for Bravo, Ramona explains why she felt so upset both during the episode, and after watching it last night.

Her first point is one of manners and etiquette. Regarding Heather’s choice to invite all the Housewives to London except Ramona, she says “Heather did not have the courtesy to say to me point blank, ‘Ramona I'm inviting everyone but you. I don't feel comfortable with you around me so that's it.’” She continues, “I would have respected Heather so much more if she did that. That is what I am really upset about — that she couldn't tell me to my face.”

And that’s not the only bad behavior Ramona found Heather guilty of last night. She points out that, when someone invites you to be part of their table at a charity event (as Ramona did with Heather), it’s common courtesy to at least RSVP with a response.

“She got the email and never responded, other than to say her assistant would get back to me,” says Ramona. “I invited ALL the women as my guests. When someone invites you as a guest and they have a table, you get back to them ASAP.”

It’s hard to disagree with Ramona, especially when it comes to all things ladylike.

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
