Alex McCord Thinks New Real Housewives of New York Have a Lot to Learn (VIDEO)
FormerReal Housewives of New York star Alex McCord thinks the new girls — Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill, and Heather Thomson — have a lot to learn. So, on her Rumor Fix vlog, she offered up a tutorial on a few things the new gals can learn from a seasoned show veteran like herself. First thing’s first: Help each other out! Sometimes, the newbies will have to ham it up when it comes to a fellow castmate’s product placement on the show. Pointing to this week’s episode (Season 5, Episode 4: “Diss-Invite”), Alex says the ladies majorly failed in helping Ramona Singer introduce her skincare line, True Renewal, on-camera. “Caroline, Aviva, and Ramona went to lunch, and this is where you would help a castmate out,” Alex says. “Ramona was trying to get her product on the show ... You should take it out of the bag and say ‘Wow, oh what it is this? Is it a skincare line? Is it your skincare line? Did you make it? This is great!’ Instead, they mocked it behind her back.”
Also? Alex thinks the new girls need to learn to have their assistants respond to one another’s emails — make it personal! Their “job” is to make friends with these gals, not for one of their assistants to befriend another’s.
Most importantly, perhaps, Alex instructs them on how to provoke some drama on the show Make each other wait a little bit! Nothing peeves a reality TV star like having to wait on another reality TV star.
