DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba to be Honored for Helping Homeless Cats
Paws up with a 10 paddle! The self-described "crazy cat lady" of Dancing With the Stars will be honored on July 14 as the ultimate caring cat lady.
According to a Business Wire press release, a nonprofit organization adorably named Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats will present DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba with the 1st Annual Cats in White Spats Award at its 2nd Annual CATS for Cats all-star benefit concert on July 14 at the Orpheum Theatre in L.A.
The Cats in White Spats Award (even the award sounds cute!) is given to a celebrity dedicated to animal rescue and adoption. Carrie Ann is being recognized for her continuous work with animals and for Crib Cat, a web show on Petsami's YouTube Channel where Carrie Ann introduces shelter cats in need of homes.
"Helping homeless animals is something I just can't NOT do," Carrie Ann said in the press release. "I am honored to be a part of this cause and that I am able to help shed light on the need of open hearts, and open homes, for these helpless loving animals. I'm proud to be working in the trenches with organizations like Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats making a difference for the future."
