The Bachelor

Roberto Martinez Responds to Bachelor Payday Rumors

After rumors that Roberto Martinez is in talks to negotiate a whopping $750,000 salary to star as the next Bachelor, Hottie Dimples himself took to Twitter to weigh in on the widespread speculation.

Roberto tweets, “‘Keep ur lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have.’ Hebrews 13:5 #ThereIsNoPrice.” Not only does this seriously poke holes in the report that Roberto was demanding a hefty paycheck, but it also begs the question if he’s going to participate in The Bachelor’s upcoming season at all!

Despite Roberto’s “There Is No Price” hashtag, recently Reality Steve confirmed the news, saying, "It’s 1000% signed, sealed, delivered that Roberto will be the next ‘Bachelor,’” so perhaps Roberto’s tweeting is a negotiating tactic to rattle ABC. Doesn’t sound like our Roberto — but maybe his split from Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky has brought out his shrewder side?
