Real Housewives of New Jersey

Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga Try Therapy and More WTF Moments From The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4, Episode 10: “Temporary Shrinkage”

This week, things went a little off the rails, with the ladies taking shots at lesbian bars and then at each other in family therapy. Sunday dinners seemed to heal more sibling issues than sessions with a licensed professional, and it seemed like nothing could help Jacqueline Laurita ’s daughter, Ashlee.

Even with all that, we managed to narrow down the top craziest moments, so read on for what surprised, shocked and stunned us from Season 4, Episode 10 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey!

1. Albie’s Off the Market

Well ladies, it’s time to pack it in. It seems like Albie and pro-football cheerleader Lindsey are a real item. Though Caroline Manzo has alluded to her before, at this week’s family dinner, young Albie (reluctantly) agreed to introduce her to the family, meaning that it’s got to be a least semi- serious. When it comes to family, we already know mama Manzo doesn’t play, and with sister Lauren ready to invite Linds to a round of ham game with the boys, we can’t wait for the interesting meet and greet.

2. Mother and Child

While the Manzos and Lauritas discussed RV’s and skull tattoos at Sunday dinner, the Wakile’s version took on a decidedly different tone. After being asked to weigh in on her daughters’ issues with each other, Kathy Wakile and Rosie’s mother struck everyone silent with the heart-wrenching tale of how her mother essentially gave her away to her aunt as a young child. Faced with such a tragic family story, the sisters’ issues seemed petty in comparison.

3. Kathy Wakile, Girl Gone Wild?

Buoyed by a sudden sense of family comradery, Kathy then made a huge step in working on her discomfort with her sister Rosie’s sexuality. Along with “I’ve kissed a girl” Heather Robinson, the pair went to a gay bar, hoping to bag a babe for the unofficial sixth housewife. With Rosie taking an unlikely backseat to her sister, the new wild Wakile amusingly tried to play matchmaker while downing shots and forgetting “bitch’s names”! A valiant attempt, but Kathy should brush up on her wingwomaning skills before the next outing.

4. RV Serious?

The main attraction was, of course, Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga’s much anticipated therapy session. Sitting down with Dr. Sweeney, a defensive Teresa and a nervous Joe both made similar points, making us wonder if there was a real reason for their long estrangement in the first place. But when the doctor advises them not to share an RV, because of say, the cramped quarters, constant drinking and lingering issues, Teresa takes it upon herself to decide to do just that, because she welcomes impossible situations and the doctor told her not to. Challenge accepted, doc.

5. Therapy Schmerapy

Just when we thought things were all rainbows and ice cream in the sky, reality (television) came crashing down. Apparently, saying “it’s over” means “until we get downstairs,” because Joe and Teresa can’t even get to the parking lot before starting up again, as Joe brought up Teresa’s finances and their parents’ living arrangements once again. Hope they kept the receipt for that therapy session ...
