Pretty Little Liars

Breaking Down the Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 5 Preview: “That Girl Is Poison” (VIDEO)

Based on the fragmented images and sequences in the preview for Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 5: “That Girl is Poison” (airing July 10), we can piece together a lot of spoiler-y information. Read on for a thorough breakdown of what we can tell about “That Girl Is Poison” from the preview.

Jenna’s secret is out. Well, at least one of them. Jenna (Tammin Sursok) is seen wearing a bright blue shirt and a bright new demeanor, as she traipses through the halls of Rosewood High without her dark glasses. The fact that she can see is now public.

Hanna is brokenhearted. We see Hanna (Ashley Benson) slumped over her kitchen counter as her mom tries to comfort her. But all Hanna can say is, “He left me.” Clearly getting over Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will be incredibly difficult.

Paige is back. We knew from these sneak peek photos that Paige (Lindsey Shaw) would be back in Emily’s (Shay Mitchell) life at Jenna’s birthday party. But in the preview, we see a snippet of Paige, looking fresh-faced, standing by Emily’s side as they stare down Jenna in school.

“A”’s Maya connection. Someone on the “A” team is wearing their signature black leather gloves, and holding a worn photo of Emily with “xoxox” and a kiss mark on it. It looks like a photo Emily took of herself, and sent to Maya (Bianca Lawson). (The same on that Nate had on his phone.) How did “A” get their hands on this photo, and does this mean Emily is “A”’s next target?

Spencer in an elevator. Not much more to say about that, but Spencer (Troian Bellisario) looks kinda scared in an elevator. Maybe she stopped by the hospital to see Wren (Julian Morris)?

Aria spots someone in a hoodie! Somewhere outside at night, Aria (Lucy Hale) sees an arguably male figure in a dark hoodie fleeing the scene. Should we expect members of the “A” team to cause trouble at Jenna’s party? With so many suspects in attendance, it sure would make narrowing them down easier...

Someone stumbles at the party. We see someone dressed in black take a major tumble at Jenna’s birthday party, as Emily (in her cater waiter uniform) swoops in to try and help them.

An ambulance shows up. With a quick shot of an ambulance, we know that someone is about to get seriously hurt. We just hope it’s not one of our Liars!

Catch an all-new episode of PLL on Tuesday, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
