Sonja said that at any time she has one to three interns with her (one of which is the star-in-the-making Millsaps). The interns, she explained, help her with her “clothing racks, emails” and the running of her household.
In case the idea of having unpaid interns help with housework sounds fishy to you, Sonja notes that all the interns get school credit for their internships, as well as “life-long experience.” They aren't scrubbing dishes or anything! The Housewife also says that the interns’ parents thank her for educating their children in what she likes to jokingly call “The Sonja Morgan School of Hard Knocks.”
During one scene in particular, we saw Sonja’s interns go through Sonja’s daily tasks and help her organize her vitamins and pills. Sonja chided one intern for not knowing the difference between her “brain energy pill” and her “poop pill” before asking Millsaps to cash a check for $1.45. It all looked like hilarious fun.
In short: we really wish we were Sonja’s interns!
