Grey's Anatomy

What Was the Saddest Death in Grey’s Anatomy History?

Lexie's (Chyler Leigh) death on Grey's Anatomy Season 8, Episode 24, "Flight" was shocking. But was it the saddest death in Grey's Anatomy history? We're not sure.

There's no question that we were completely devastated by Little Grey's demise; we still get teary eyed when we think about Mark's (Eric Dane) goodbye to her. On the other hand, we also get teary eyed when we think about George … and Denny … and Henry...

The point is, Shonda Rhimes knows how to break out hearts. What do you think was the saddest Grey's death ever?

Miss Grey’s? Us too. Luckily the show will return to Thursdays at 9 p.m. with all-new episodes in the fall on ABC.
