Justin Bieber: High-Speed Paparazzi Car Chase Leads to Harassment Complaint
Poor Biebs! The paparazzi have been unusually relentless when it comes to hounding Justin Bieber — or maybe he's been unusually aggressive in trying to keep them away — resulting in a scuffle with them outside a Calabasas mall in May. Now, there's more paparazzi drama with the Biebs, which has led to the pop star filing a harassment complaint against the paparazzo in question, after a dramatic high-speed car chase (seriously!) on Friday resulted in several calls to 911.
Here's what we know: Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, Justin was being trailed by a number of paparazzi; he got on the freeway and accelerated to try and evade them, with his speed hitting 80 mph — although some onlookers say he was as high as 100 mph. Witnesses allege that he was weaving dangerously in and out of lanes in order to bypass them, but the paparazzi weren't slowing down, even driving on the shoulder to keep up with him.
As many as 10 calls were placed to 911 to report the reckless driving, so when cops eventually stopped Justin, citing him for speeding, he then took the opportunity to file a harassment complaint against one of the photogs, giving the police the pap's license plate number.
We'll have to wait to see what comes of the incident, but either way, it seems like the relationship between the Biebs and those pesky paparazzi just keeps getting worse.
