Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Gretchen Rossi Calls Alexis Bellino’s Anti-Bullying Campaigns “Grotesque”

Not only are Real Housewives of Orange County stars Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino still on the outs, but Gretchen also thinks Alexis is taking her claims that the girls “bullied” her in Costa Rica way too far.

In this new Bravo video, Gretchen explains that she and Alexis aren’t in communication these days, despite Alexis approaching Gretchen after the Season 7 reunion show taping and admitting some hand in their riff this year. She doesn’t like what she’s been hearing from Alexis lately either.

“I do know that she’s been out talking a lot in interviews and in her blogs about the fact that she’s participating in anti-bullying stuff,” she says, “which quite honestly I think is kind of grotesque because none of us were bullying her by any means. We were actually approaching her about something that was causing her to be alienated from the group, and we were trying to let her know that we didn’t want her to be alienated anymore.”

“Bullying is a very serious subject in this country, and there’s a lot of people whose lives have been threatened or who have died. Alexis in no way, shape, or form was in that environment in Costa Rica, and so I’ve been a little bit disappointed in that,” Gretchen explains.

Do you think she’s right about this? Should Alexis be more careful about using the phrase “bullying” with regard to what happened between her and her co-stars in the Costa Rica episode?
