David Boreanaz Reveals His Ideal Series Ending for Bones: “Just Put The ‘Do Not Disturb’ Sign On”

Even though Hart Hanson has assured Bones fans that there are more seasons of Bones to come, David Boreanaz (Agent Seeley Booth) opened up to The Hollywood Reporter recently about whether or not he has a preference for how the series ends.

His answer revealed David’s sense of humor, and his sense of obligation to the show’s fans. He says,

“I think everybody wants to see Booth and Brennan together. I always loved the Poltergeist ending where he just put the TV out and closed the door. It would be great to see the two of us in a motel and just close the door in the middle of nowhere and just put the "Do not disturb" sign on, and that would be the end of the series.”

We always thought the series might end with the Jeffersonian starting a cult in rural Virginia where they’d worship Baby Christine, who would ultimately marry Baby Michael and rule on high forever more. But, you know, David’s idea is good too — we guess.
