She’s arguably the most popular and well-known face on Glee, but does all that success translate to big bucks in the bank for Lea Michele (Rachel)?
The cheerful star is still relatively new to the TV biz. Now, she did have career Broadway before making the move to the West Coast to film Glee in 2008, but at only 25 years old, Lea’s still pretty young to have amassed a ton of wealth in life so far. So what exactly is her net worth, anyway?
According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Lea has a net worth of $2.5 million. That’s about the same (and sometimes slightly higher) than the rest of her Glee co-stars, with a few notable exceptions.
Jane Lynch (Sue) is has a net worth of $5 million, while Matthew Morrison (Will) is worth $4 million. In contrast, Glee creator Ryan Murphy, who has written and produced a number of hit TV shows over the years, is worth a cool $20 million.
So, while a net worth of $2.5 million may not seem like much in comparison, don’t worry your pretty little head that Lea’s not making enough to get by. The Glee starlet was last reported to be bringing in about $45,000 per episode — and that was before contracts were signed for Season 4.
Plus, the brunette beauty just put down $1.4 million for a new house in Los Angeles. She may not be filthy rich quite yet, but given the way her career is progressing, we’d say Lea is certainly on her way.
